The method involves processing received supply and user node lists to generate a network configuration. A sub-network is formed within each station area in a grouping step using network segmenting algorithm. The client points in each area are associated with each other to form a client cluster in the sub-network. Each client point is allocated to respective network station connected to respective feeding point. - The supply and the user node lists contain respective sets of coordinate data for each feeding and client points respectively. The feeding and the client point designate respective amount of resources fed into the network and exiting at the client point. A station area is formed around each feeding point in a sectioning step such that a specific point falls within the station area. Independent claims are also included for the following: - (a) a computer program directly loadable into the internal memory of a digital computer - (b) a computer readable medium with a program recorded on it. |
