<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve the traffic priority control of a user and the band control at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A classifier 14 classifies packets into VoIP and data. A policer 15 with priority makes the traffic band limitation, taking the priority of the input traffic into consideration. A policy action processor 16 inputs conformed packets of a traffic class needing a low-delay communication to transmission queues 22, 23 to be preferentially serviced, based on the traffic class of the inputted packets and the policer decision result, thus enabling a scheduler 24 to send the packets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
