PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a state below a vehicle body by imaging below the vehicle body and displaying it on a display device provided in the vehicle. SOLUTION: This system 10 for displaying a portion below a vehicle body is provided with an omniazimuth imaging apparatus 12 mounted downward to a lower surface panel Se of the vehicle S, an image processor 15 and a monitoring device 14. The omniazimuth imaging apparatus 12 transmits a donut-like image obtained by imaging all periphery to the image processor 15 by radio. The image processor 15 applies various kinds of image processing such as panoramic development processing and division arrangement processing to the received image, transmits a processed image for display to the monitoring device 14 and displays it. The omniazimuth imaging apparatus 12 is stored inside the vehicle body, covered by a shutter device 18 and protected from a dust and spray, etc. to be bounded from a road surface when no imaging is performed.
