PNEUMATIC CLASSIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic classifier the deterioration of the sorting capacity of which can be prevented by preventing a middleweight material from being retained particularly in a lightweight material discharging part. SOLUTION: This pneumatic classifier for sorting mixed waste by the force of a wind is provided with: a main body frame 5; a rotary drum 1 supported by the frame 5 to be rotated freely; a plurality of scraping plates 24 arranged in the drum 1; a blower 3 which is arranged on the frame 5 so as to be connected to one end side of the drum 1 in the longitudinal direction and is used for blowing air to the mixed waste thrown into the drum 1; a discharge duct 27 which is arranged on the frame 5 so as to be connected to the other end side of the drum 1 in the longitudinal direction and is used for discharging the lightweight material of the mixed waste moving with the airflow from the blower 3; and a scraping unit 40 for scraping the middleweight material of the mixed waste retained in the duct 27.
