PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the yield of mushroom regardless of the kinds of the mushroom and to inexpensively obtain the stable yield without requiring manpower such as the one for mixing in a basic culture medium for artificial culture of the mushroom. SOLUTION: The additive for the basic culture medium is obtained by formulating an aluminum-magnesium coprecipitated and dried product of an inorganic material having antacid activities, and regulating the neutralizing ability by changing the content of each element at the time so that the medium may have the most suitable growing pH and may keep the growing pH.
