MOLTEN SLAG PORT DUCT OF ASH MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent narrowing of a passage when melting slag solidifies and deposits. SOLUTION: This molten slag port duct 3 has the passage 3a arranged between a discharge port part 14d of an ash melting furnace 1 having a molten slag port 13 for allowing the melting slag C to flow down and a receiving port part 21a of a water tank 2 positioned under this discharge port part 14d, and surrounding the periphery of the melting slag C flowing down in the receiving port part 21a from the molten slag port 13; and is constituted so that the cross-sectional area of the passage 3a is gradually expanded toward a receiving port part 21a side lower end opening part (a lower end part) 3c from a discharge port part 14d side upper end opening part (an upper end part) 3b.
