Preventing faecal residues in toilet bowl, by spreading out sheet inside bowl where faeces normally drop

A paper sheet (6) is spread out inside the bowl (1) and held in a position in a region (T) between the top side of the bowl and the area of the bowl onto which faeces normally drop. The sheet and faeces deposited on top of it are then flushed away together. An independent claim is also included for a system for carrying out this method, comprising a toilet bowl with a sheet spreading device and a retaining means provided on the sheet or spreading device so that the sheet is held in place in a spread-out position.
