PURPOSE: A network system, an electronic equipment terminal, a server, and a method for distributing and reproducing contents, particularly regarding to reproduce contents provided by the Internet in each room of a home at low cost are provided to enjoy various contents at low cost by constructing the electronic equipment terminal in a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A server(1) and electronic equipment terminals(2A,2B,2C) are connected with each other in a network system. Each electronic equipment terminal includes a terminal transmitting part transmitting a command requesting contents to the server(1) through a network, and a reproducing part reproducing digital data of the contents transmitted from the server(1) through the network. The server(1) includes a server transmitting part transmitting digital data of the requested contents to the electronic equipment terminals(2A,2B,2C) through the network as soon as the server(1) receives the command from the electronic equipment terminals(2A,2B,2C). |
