BACK LIGHT UNIT OF DISPLAY TO OVERCOME LUMINANCE UNUNIFORMITY

PURPOSE: A back light unit of a display is provided to improve a prism pattern formed on the backside of a light guide plate to overcome luminance ununiformity. CONSTITUTION: A back light unit of a display includes a transparent light guide plate(100), a light source(200), and a reflecting plate(300). A pattern part(110) in which a prism pattern is formed is placed on the top face of the light guide plate. The prism pattern has grooves(111). The light source is located at one side of the light guide plate. The reflecting plate is placed under the light guide plate. The density of the grooves of the prism pattern is increased long the length direction of the light source as the grooves become close to electrodes(211,212) of the light source.
