PURPOSE: An IDC(Insulation Displacement Connection) telecom block is provided to enable two extension lines to connect at every office line so that voice and data lines is additionally used to an office line, thereby capable of applying very high-data rate service such as ADSL(Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) or VDSL(Very high-Data Subscriber Line). CONSTITUTION: An office line(20) connected to a subscriber side is connected to a backward IDC connection pin(52). Extension lines connected to a device side in a telephone office are connected to forward IDC connection pins(54). The backward connection pin corresponds to the backward IDC connection pins(54) by 1:2. A recess(56) is formed inwardly at each port of the IDC telecom block(50). An earth bar(60) for preventing an accident caused by a thunderbolt is inserted integrally to the recess.
