PURPOSE: An adsorptive web for use in a mask and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to increase the area per unit volume and hygroscopic effect and to improve hygienic characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a sterilizing and deodorizing adsorptive web comprises the steps of: (a) forming a nano-sized carrier(1) by pulverizing at least one selected from the group consisting of zeolite, CMC and bentonite, or a mixture thereof; (b) adding the carrier(1) to cotton fiber, synthetic fiber, fiber using ultrafine yarn with good aeration capability, pulp or sponge during the manufacture thereof and then forming an adsorptive web having the carrier fixed thereto, or applying the carrier(1) to a resin obtained from the above fibers, pulp, sponge or a mixture thereof and heating the resultant product to obtain an adsorptive web in which the carrier is swelled and fixed; and (c) causing sterilizing and deodorizing components(3) to be adsorbed on the adsorptive web having the carrier fixed thereto.
