PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling the shading of a display device using a photodiode is provided to adjust the shading of the display device although optical quantity differs finely. CONSTITUTION: A photodiode(PD1) generates current according to the intensity of light. The photodiode(PD1) is installed at one side of a front panel of a display device. A load resistor(RL) converts the current outputted from the photo transistor into a voltage. A voltage amplifier(Amp1) amplifies the voltage converted in the load resistor, and outputs the amplified voltage. The load resistor is connected to a cathode or an anode of the photodiode.
