PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric resonator component to which a metallic cover is fitted wherein dispersion in the attenuation characteristics at an operating band and its vicinity is small due to the fitting of the metallic cover and the peak of the spurious characteristic can easily be shifted toward a high frequency band to enhance the spurious characteristics. SOLUTION: The dielectric resonator component comprises a dielectric block wherein a plurality of resonators each having first and second faces opposed to each other are formed; and a metal cover 7. The metal cover 7 has: a first sheet part 71 formed in parallel with through-holes of the resonators and tangent to an outer face 5 of the dielectric block 1 on which no input output electrode is formed; a second sheet part 72 formed to cover at least the through-holes of the first face; and a projection 73 for joining the first sheet part to the second sheet part and formed more closely to the first face than the second sheet part.
