PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified polyethylene terephthalate readily controlling the crystallization rate, having excellent stability of the crystallization rate and improving the crystallization rate from a low-temperature state. SOLUTION: The modified polyethylene terephthalate comprises polyethylene terephthalate and a crystalline resin (0.1-10,000 ppb) other than the polyethylene terephthalate. The crystallization temperature Tcc (°C) of a molded product measured with a differential scanning calorimeter during temperature rising and the semicrystallization time t1/2 (s) of the molded product at 180°C satisfy formula (I)Tcc≤0.2×(t1/2)+139 (I).
