The golf tee has an anchor pin to fit into the ground (5) and defining a pivot axis for a golf ball support arm which has an opening to receive the anchor pin. The opposite end of the arm has a recess to receive the golf ball (4) at a distance from the pivot axis. The arm and tee are made of fracture resistant material.
