The drive system uses special handles (1,1a) located 180 degrees from each other on cranks (6, 6a) for vertical rotational movement so that a chain wheel mounted on the frame can be rotated. Steering is through horizontal movements of the handles in that handle guide rails for up and down movements engage in rod profiles fitted at the top ends with fixed bearing housing and at the bottom end with side tabs. The chain wheels are preferably the same size.
