PURPOSE: A detergent input device of a washing machine is provided to offer a wide range of selection in a washing method to a user and to increase washing efficiency via merits of detergent-free washing and detergent washing. CONSTITUTION: A detergent input device of a washing machine with a detergent-free washing stroke by electrolysis comprises a water storage vessel(201), a float sensor(309) mounted to the side of an electrolyte input room, to detect the load of the electrolyte; a key input part for selecting a detergent-free washing mode, a detergent washing mode, and a simultaneous washing mode; and a control part turning on/off a water supply valve(205) and a drain valve(203) according to the washing modes received from the key input part and the capacity of the electrolyte detected from float sensor and executing drive control of an electrolysis device, to make wash water or detergent water loaded into a water storage tub. The water storage vessel includes a housing. A partition panel(303) for separating a detergent input room and the electrolyte input room is formed to the inside of the housing. A wash water drain is formed to the bottom of the detergent input room and is fastened to the water storage tub of the washing machine through a detergent water supply pipe. An electrolytic water drain(305) is formed to the bottom of the electrolyte input room. The drain valve for executing discharge control of electrolytic water is fastened to the electrolysis device through a wash water discharge pipe. A water supply path(307) for the supply of service water is formed to the side spaced apart from the bottom of the electrolyte input room. |
