COMPRESSION HIP SCREW CAPABLE OF PREVENTING A LOWER THIGH FROM BEING SHORTENED AND REDUCING POSSIBILITY OF FURTHER OPERATION

PURPOSE: A compression hip screw is provided to prevent a lower thigh from being shortened due to an excessive compression on a hip fracture, reduce the possibility of a further surgery, and reduce a patient's mental stress and pains relating to a surgery. CONSTITUTION: The compression hip screw comprises: a supporting plate(11) fixed to a femur body(2) and having a hollow barrel(15) extendedly formed at an upper part; a lag screw(20) coupled to a femur head(3) via a mounting hole(16) formed at the barrel(15); and a compression screw(30) engaged to the lag screw(20) via the mounting hole(16). The compression hip screw further comprises a compression screw fixing unit for fixing the compression screw to the mounting hole(16) of the barrel(15).
