<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide binding to a Dicer protein and a polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide. <P>SOLUTION: A base sequence of human 22th chromosome long arm is determined and a new gene PIWIL3 encoding a protein belonging to an Argonaute group having a PAZ domain and a PIW1 domain is identified and its cDNA is isolated. When PIWIL3 protein and Dicer protein are expressed in a cultured cell, it was clarified that these proteins are mutually bound. The polypeptide binding to Dicer protein and the polynucleotide encoding the polypeptide can be obtained by isolating the PIWIL3cDNA and the protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
