PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic device and its control method capable of being miniaturized, instantaneously starting the operation of a fluid system, reducing the energy consumption and loss, controlling its speed and pressure with high accuracy, and quickly switching the direction of the operation. SOLUTION: This hydraulic device comprises a servomotor 13 changing its rotating frequency based on a rotating frequency command signal, a pump 12 driven by the servomotor, and a control valve 14 controlling a flow rate and the pressure from a control port by introducing the high-pressure fluid discharged from the pump 12 to a supply port and changing a valve opening based on a valve opening command signal.
