PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular traveling control device capable of properly informing information of a preceding vehicle, on the basis of a traveling road state and a driver's will. SOLUTION: When a vehicular control main switch is switched on (YES of S1), by switching on a preceding vehicle detecting switch, a vehicle control prohibition determining portion determines whether a driver of an own-vehicle indicates his/her intention to accept prohibiting follow-up travelling control due to deterioration in viewability of a front visibility (S2). When the driver indicates his/her intention to accept prohibiting the follow-up traveling control (YES of S2), by using a signal outputted from a camera detection output portion on the basis of a camera image, a deterioration state of viewability in front of the own-vehicle is determined (S3). When the viewability in front of the own-vehicle is deteriorated (YES of S3), the follow-up traveling control by a target value deciding portion and a vehicular state controlling portion is prohibited (S4), and the output of information about the preceding vehicle by a vehicular information instructing portion is permitted (S5).
