<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory composition particularly having more remarkably improved corrosion resistance and slag infiltration resistance than that of the conventional castable. <P>SOLUTION: In the monolithic refractory composition composed of a refractory raw material having particles controlled to range from coarse particles to super fine particles, the refractory raw material is composed of 20-70 mass% spinel raw material, 3-12 mass% magnesia raw material, 0.5-3 mass% super fine powder consisting essentially of silica, 3-10 mass% hardening agent and the balance a alumina raw material. the content of Na<SB>2</SB>O in the spinel raw material and the alumina raw material is <0.5 mass% (including zero) and the content of SiO<SB>2</SB>in the magnesia raw material is ≤3 mass% (including zero). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
