PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colorless and transparent resin composition excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 0.0005-0.1 pts.wt of a 2-(1-arylalkylidene) acetic ester per 100 pts.wt of at least one resin selected from a methyl methacrylate resin, a styrene resin and a methyl methacrylate-styrene copolymer resin, wherein the acetic ester is expressed, for example, in formula (1) (in the formula X is H, an alkyl group or an alkoxy group, R<SP>1</SP>is an alkyl group.).
