PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor or a wall using a ceramic block capable of solving such a problem that corrosion and dirt or the like occurring in a deck material (wood deck) of the conventional wood result from using for a long period of time and that time and labor for production and execution are required for preventing the occurrence of rust resulting from a metal-made deck material. SOLUTION: As the deck material instead of the wood deck, the ceramic block 1 consecutively having one or more hollows 1a between both ends in the longitudinal direction or consecutively forming a recess section 1b and a projection section 1c alternately arranged at least on the surface in the direction of the width or in the longitudinal direction is used, the ceramic block 1 is adjoined in the direction of the width and in the longitudinal direction to place, a latch 2 passing through in the direction of the thickness is used to directly or indirectly fix to a structural body 3 or the ground surface to constitute a floor 5 or a wall.
