PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric door mirror device capable of preventing or effectively suppressing generation of abnormal sound and transmission loss of rotational force caused by an engagement defective of a worm gear and a worm wheel due to reaction from the worm wheel, being miniaturized as the whole of the device, and being reduced in weight. SOLUTION: In the second worm gear 118, an outside dimension is gradually reduced from both end sides of the axial direction toward a center side, and a cross sectional shape is formed into a curved recessed shape as if the cross sectional shape is opened with a prescribed curvature toward the rotation radial direction outside of the second worm gear 118. The second worm wheel 90 is curved as if the cross sectional shape when cut along the axial direction in an outer peripheral part is opened outward with more than the curvature of the cross sectional shape of the second worm gear 118. As a result, the reaction from the second worm wheel 90 according to rotational force from the second worm gear 118 is dispersed to a plurality of engaged parts, and force applied per unit contact area is reduced.
