PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumption while securing reaction in detecting an operation or information.

SOLUTION: A disk type jog dial part 5 detects an input operation from a user in a state where a power source is supplied. A power source control part 25 and a power source supply on/off switch 36 intermittently supply a power source to the hall element 37 of the disk type jog dial part 5. A CPU 23 controls the operation of the power source supply on/off switch 36 via the power source control part 25, so as to change an intermittent cycle for supplying the power source to the hall element 37.
