<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for reducing the occurrence of bit error caused by composing processing in a zone boundary, in a diversity receiving apparatus for performing maximum ratio synthetic diversity processing. <P>SOLUTION: The diversity receiving apparatus is provided with correlation operating processing parts 113-1, 113-2 for operating a correlative value between in-phase component and orthogonal component signals demodulated from an intermediate frequency band signal and a fixed pattern contained in the in-phase component and orthogonal component signals, correlative likelihood calculating processing parts 114-1, 114-2 for calculating likelihood between the in-phase component signals and orthogonal component signals and the fixed pattern based on the value obtained by the operation, and multiplication coefficient correcting parts 115-1, 115-2 for correcting a weighting coefficient in regular proportion to a power of a received radio signal by multiplying a value proportional to the likelihood found by the calculation to the weighting coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
