SUPERVISOR HANDOVER METHOD IN BLUETOOTH(R) HIGH-SPEED SUBNET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a time required for supervisor handover can be shortened by selecting a candidate supervisor in advance before the supervisor handover occurs.

SOLUTION: The supervisor handover method includes steps of: determining a candidate supervisor which can become a new supervisor out of members of an HR subnet before starting the supervisor handover; broadcasting an inquiry message from the candidate supervisor to all members of the HR subnet when the supervisor handover is started; and determining the candidate supervisor as the new supervisor when all the members of the HR subnet answer inquiry messages.
