PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of soot and nitrogen oxide by sufficiently diffusing spray in a combustion chamber even if fuel is injected in the vicinity of top dead center. SOLUTION: A wall face 10 for regulating spray 7 on at least cylinder head 3a side and introducing spray 7 into the combustion chamber 2a on a piston side is provided.
