<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power-generation system which can generate easily an efficient and greater power than a system e.g. of a Savonius windmill, although it is impossible to generate such a big power as a large-scale propeller-type, at a comparatively not so high place by effectively utilizing wind force at an extensive place such as a building rooftop having practically nothing to limit the placement. <P>SOLUTION: The wind power-generation system 1 comprises an impeller 2 having at least three platelike rotary blades 3, and a horizontal rotation shaft. A quadrangular bearing frame 3 for bearing both ends of the impeller 2 is placed above a support base 4 provided with a rotary joint 5 allowing the bearing frame 3 to rotate horizontally. A means for facing to wind such as a vertical blade 9 is placed leeward to the bearing frame 3 so that a specified face of the bearing frame 3 faces to the changed direction of the wind to receive the wind. A windbreak 6 is provided to shelter in the range about the half of the radius of rotation to the windward of the impeller 2 in the vertical direction. The windbreak 6 can move in the range of the radius of rotation. A generator 8 is provided to operate in interlocking with the impeller 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
