PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide molded articles made of an acrylic resin material such as accessories, sign plates, and practical use miscellaneous goods excellent in decorativeness in which desired shapes such as characters and graphics are formed by applying a laser beam machining method with a laser beam, and a method for easily manufacturing the molded articles. SOLUTION: The molded articles are made of the acrylic resin material. A through-face in a desired shape is formed to a base material by cutting the shapes such as the characters and the graphics by using the laser beam. A decorative member is made of an acrylic resin material different from the base material or wood such as teak and plywood. It is formed into the same shape as that of the through-face of the base material by using the laser beam. The decorative member is fitted to the through-face of the base material. A low level difference or a high level difference is formed between the through-face of the base material and the other face. The molded articles are the accessories, the sign plates, and the practical use miscellaneous goods having such characteristics. The method is for manufacturing the molded articles by cooling after the base material, to which the decorative member is fitted and which is fixed, is heated and softened, and it is molded to a desired shape of the molded articles.
