PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for mounting a washbowl which make the upper edge of a washbowl inconspicuous even using a melamine facing plate of deep color.SOLUTION: A washbowl is mounted based on the following steps: (a) cutting a mounting end of a top board (4) made of a facing plate (2) and woody substrate (1) other than a part (3) of the woody substrate besides the facing plate (2), and forming a stepped recess (5); (b) coating an adhesive (7) on the facing plate (2); (c) mounting the washbowl (8) on the opening surface side so that the facing plate (2) is protruded, across a border (6) between the part (3) of the woody substrate and the surface coated with the adhesive (7); (d) pressing the protruded part (9) of the facing plate (2); (e) filling a synthetic resin (10) in a space between the washbowl (8) and the woody substrate (1); and (f) finishing the opening surface of the washbowl. |
