PURPOSE: A performance test apparatus for compressor is provided to obtain a performance test result with an improved accuracy by arranging a basic cycle, an adjusting device, a measuring device and a data processing system for the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises first and second expansion valves(15,17) mounted at the refrigerant line between a condenser(11) and a calorimeter(18) and which perform, in two stages, throttling expansion action to the refrigerant flowing along the refrigerant line; a super-cooling device(12) for super-cooling the refrigerant flowing from the condenser; a first liquid receiver(13) arranged at the refrigerant line between the condenser and a first expansion valve(15) so as to supply only the liquid refrigerant from the refrigerant condensed by the condenser; and a second liquid receiver(16) arranged at the refrigerant line between the first expansion valve and the second expansion valve so as to supply only the complete liquid refrigerant to the second expansion valve.
