摘要 PURPOSE: A method for converting a vibration mode of a mobile communication terminal by sensing a pilot signal is provided so that a user can easily convert a reception mode without using an additional device, by employing a pilot PN(pseudo noise) signal search function. CONSTITUTION: An RF unit(110) receives an RF radio signal from a base station through an antenna, and demodulates it to a baseband. A search unit(120) searches a pilot of an adjacent base station from the received signal. According to the pilot search operation, a reception mode is converted into a vibration mode. A nonvolatile memory(140) stores nonvolatile data for operating a mobile communication terminal. The data includes system data, and pilot set information such as active group information, adjacent group information and candidate group information. Especially, the adjacent information data includes pilot PN. A nonvolatile memory(150) is operated as an operation memory of the mobile communication terminal, for temporarily storing the data. A key input unit(130) is used as a user information input unit. A control unit(100) controls the whole operation of the mobile communication terminal, and also controls conversion of the reception mode. Therefore, the reception mode can be converted into the vibration mode without the additional manual operation of the user, or additional device by using the pilot PN signal search function.
