<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device 1 capable of simplifying a structure of a circuit by making rotation of a motor 5 into a normal rotation, eliminating need of controlling an accurate rotation angle of the motor 5, and locking a steering lock by electronic control with restrained costs. <P>SOLUTION: A tip side lock pin 12 is fitted with a steering shaft 2 into a unrotatable condition, and a base end side lock pin 11 is advanced toward the steering shaft 2. Under an unadvanced condition, a pinion 14 and a rack 111 driven by the motor 5 are provided into a free condition, and a release spring 17 energizing the tip side lock pin 12 to a retreating direction is provided, so that an advancing condition of the base end side lock pin 11 and a retreating condition of the base end side lock pin 11 for an unlocking condition are held by a lock groove 112 and an unlocking groove 113 of a plunger 131 and the base end side lock pin 11 of a solenoid 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
