摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which reduces communication efficiency deterioration in an environment where a plurality of systems of radio communication devices coexist closely. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission characteristic storing portion 101 stores a transmission error ratio and a packet error ratio obtained by a reception result, or information such as reception electric field intensity. Upon storing, hopping frequency information is obtained from a hopping pattern generating portion 11, and a transmission characteristic is stored per hopping frequency. A baseband processing control portion 100 derives the transmission characteristic of the hopping frequency transmitted to the transmission characteristic storing portion 101, provides the transmission characteristic to a maximum packet length determination portion 13, recognizes the maximum packet length. and performs communication by using the maximum packet.
