<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely change a control program, used for control when an electronic musical instrument is graded up by replacing a component device, into a proper program. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument comprises a main body part 10, and component devices such as an upper keyboard 31 and a lower keyboard 32 which are selected between high grades or low grades and mounted on the main body part 1, and control programs needed to control electronic musical instruments of a high grade model and a low grade model are stored in a ROM 12 respectively and a CPU 11 selects and executes one of them. This choice is made according to the ON/OFF state of a limit switch 26 provided corresponding to one of the component devices and some of the components are made different in shape according to the grades. Consequently, when the component device is mounted on the main body part 10, the limit switch 36 is turned ON or OFF corresponding to the grade of the component device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
