<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a directional coupler which can be produced at a low cost, miniaturized and have excellent high-frequency characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A coplanar directional coupler 100 includes a first connection 103 for inputting/outputting waves, a second connection 104, a coupling connection 106 for coupling a part of the input, and a terminal 105. The first connection 103 is connected to the second connection 104 via a first central conductor 107, and the coupling connection 106 is connected to the terminal 105 via a second central conductor 108. The central conductors 107, 108 are adjacent to ground conductors 110, 112 on the outside. Intervals between the central conductor 107 and the neighbor ground conductor 110 and/or between the central conductor 108 and the neighbor ground conductor 112, an interval between the two central conductors 107, 108 and conductor width of the two central conductors 107, 108 are changed along the extension of the central conductors 107, 108 in the lengthwise direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
