PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a bolt action gun simply formed to be able to securely stop the movement of trigger when a safety lever is set to a safety position and a complete lock position. SOLUTION: When the safety lever 40 is set to the complete lock position P1, a first positioning hole 45 is engaged with a safety element 31. In this state, the trigger cannot be pulled since the safety element 31 is projected into a moving route and interfered even if a trigger upper arm 15a is tried to be moved forward. Since the safety element 31 is slidably guided by a sliding hole 30 in a casing 10 and its force is loaded by the casing 10 itself even if the trigger is strongly pulled, the movement of the trigger can be securely stopped. At the same time, a bolt engagement part is intruded into a bolt locking groove to stop bolt operation. When the safety lever 40 is set to the safety position P2, the bolt operation can be performed but the axis position of the safety element 31 is kept unchanged and the trigger operation cannot be performed.
