PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting device for a long stretching article processing facility capable of transporting a long stretching article efficiently and suppressing the equipment cost owing to its simple constitution. SOLUTION: The transporting device for the long stretching article in the longitudinal direction is provided for the long stretching article processing facility in which a plurality of processing sections are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the article, and is configured so that at least two units of transport dollies 2 and 3 capable of running freely are provided on a transport path 1 for transporting the article from section to section and that a supporting device 7 to support a supporting part 8 to support the article in such a manner as rinsing and falling is installed on the dollies 2 and 3, and on the transport path 1, a plurality of stationary working tables 4 for placing of the article thereon when it is processed in any section are installed at a certain spacing, and an open part 4a is formed over the stationary working tables, and the dollies 2 and 3 are allowed to pass through the working tables 4 freely.
