PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite member preventing a displacement due to a shear force between a steel member and a wooden member, having a high durability and being composed of the steel member and the wooden member. SOLUTION: A plurality of the wooden members or glued laminated woods are fixed onto at least one steel member by clamping bolts, the wooden members or the glued laminated woods are arranged on the surface side, at least one shear member is fixed onto the steel member, and the shear member is bitten into the wooden members or the glued laminated woods, thus constituting the composite member consisting of the wooden members and the steel member.
