<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle in which the connection from an input terminal to an output terminal of each connector is converted with respect to a pair of connectors connecting an engine control device and an on-vehicle electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-theft device has a first connector A connected to a plurality of signal wires from the on-vehicle electronic device 5 and provided with a plurality of input/output terminals, and a second connector B connected to a plurality of signal wires from the engine control device and provided with a plurality of input/output terminals. The first connector A and the second connector B are connected, thereby controlling the electronic device 5 by the engine control device and starting the engine. A first conversion means 10a irregularly converting the connection from the input terminal to the output terminal of the first connector A is provided in the first connector A, and a second conversion means 14a converting the connection from the input terminal to the output terminal of the second connector B corresponding to a connection conversion result between the input and output terminals of the first connector A is provided in the second connector B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
