<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve light as similar to a candlelight as possible at low cost and with a simple structure in a light source of a candlelight type used for illumination or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An illuminator is provided with a plurality of light-emitting sources, a cover covering these light-emitting sources, and a controlling means controlling brightness of the light-emitting sources. The controlling means increases the brightness of the light-emitting sources up to a given upper limit value when it comes down to a lower limit value, and in a repeated change of decreasing the brightness down to the given lower limit value when it reaches the given upper limit value, it is so structured that the repeated change can be altered at a given timing, so that, when power source is applied on light-emitting sources, each light-emitting source changes its brightness at its own period, and that, it shifts its repeating period little by little, which realizes an irregular brightness for a long period of time with a low-cost structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
