The device for sequential dispensing of a length of strip material comprises a press roll and a drum between which the strip to be dispensed is gripped. The drum 7 includes a notch 22 in a rim 21 and a cutout 24 in a central annular collar 23, and its axial end interacts, respectively, with a second vertical tongue 25 and with a first vertical tongue 33 which are equipped, respectively, with a snout 30 capable of engaging in the notch 22 and with a blade 40 capable of interacting with the downstream edge 24b of the cutout 24. Application to the dispensing of unitary articles applied onto a continuous strip. <IMAGE>
