<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pyrrole-based chelate compound having the merits of high extinction coefficient, or the like, comparable to those of conventional dyes and excellent light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a chelate compound between a pyrrole compound expressed by formula (1) and a bivalent or trivalent metal ion. In formula (1), X is an alkoxycarbonyl, cyano or carboxy; Y is an alkyl, a fluorine-substituted alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl or a substituted or unsubstituted pyridyl; Z is a substituted or unsubstituted imidazolylthio, a substituted or unsubstituted triazolylthio or a substituted or unsubstituted imidazolylthio; Q1 and Q2 are each a substituted or unsubstituted aryl, a 3-indolyl substituted with an alkyl or an aryl at 1 and 2 positions, or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
