PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening device simply preventing the end side of a shoji from being slipped off at low cost when the opening device is pressurized to an outdoor side from an indoor side. SOLUTION: A double sliding sash is equipped with a frame body A and the shoji B, a guide ridge 31 is provided to a jamb 23 of the frame body A and, at the same time, an intermediate stopper piece 55 is mounted to an intermediate section in the vertical direction of the door end side stile 43. The intermediate stopper piece 55 is equipped with a butting surface 56 extended in the indoor and outdoor direction and an inclined surface 57 formed in a position near to the jamb 23 of the frame body A of the butt surface 56 and gradually going to the indoor side according to go to the jamb 23 and an inclined surface 58 formed between the butting surface 56 and the inclined surface 57 and gradually going to the outdoor side according to go to the inclined surface 57 from the butting surface 56. When the shoji B is closed, the inclined surface 57 of the intermediate stopper piece 55 butts against the guide ridge 31 to approach the end side stile 43 to the indoor side.
