PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal chips generated between a press-fitting member and a press-fitted member therein to eliminate the need for welding and thereby to strengthen press-fitting and combining force between the members, in a solenoid operated fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: The solenoid operated fuel injection valve is assembled by pressing the press-fitting member 3 into an inner peripheral face 4f of the press-fitted member 4. A tapered guide face S<SB>1</SB>, a concentric adjustment surface S<SB>2</SB>and a press-fitting face S<SB>4</SB>are sequentially formed from a tip side in a press-in direction. An annular groove S<SB>3</SB>is formed between the guide face S<SB>1</SB>and the press-fitting face S<SB>4</SB>to seal the chips K therein generated in press-fitting of the press-in face S<SB>4</SB>into the inner peripheral face 4f of the press-fitted member 4.
