PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporated fuel treatment device for an internal combustion engine capable of determining whether a leakage occurs in a system or not simply. SOLUTION: A vapor passage 20 communicating with a fuel tank 10 is provided. A sealing valve 28 controlling opening of the vapor passage 20 for the atmosphere is provided. A tank internal pressure sensor 12 detecting tank internal pressure Ptnk is provided. After the sealing valve 28 is closed and a condition for sealing the fuel tank 10 is maintained, whether tank internal pressure Ptnk is a value close to the atmospheric pressure or not is determined. If frequency by which tank internal pressure Ptnk is the value close to the atmospheric pressure when the tank is sealed exceeds a predetermined determination value, it is determined that leakage failure occurs in the system.
