PURPOSE: An ophthalmologic image pickup system is provided to reduce costs and prevent errors by treating a plurality of image pickup devices by a single image processing device. CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmologic image pickup system comprises an image pickup device and an image processing device. The image pickup device includes image data generating units(1,2) for generating image data of an eye fundus; device information generating units(3,4) for generating device information for identifying devices; and a data output unit for outputting image data and device information. The image processing device includes a data input unit for inputting image data and device information output from the data output unit of the image pickup device; a device information determination unit(5) for determining the image pickup device in accordance with the device information input by the data input unit; and an image processing unit(6) for performing image processing on the image data in accordance with the determination result of the device information determination unit.
