A luminaire is disclosed in which it includes a housing, a cover and a pantograph mechanism for lowering and raising the cover to open and close the luminaire where a box type lamp and gear tray is fitted therein. The luminaire includes a pantograph mechanism comprising two sets linkage to lower and raise the cover at an angle to the horizontal plane. The luminaire includes a cover comprising a main part and a minor part. When the minor part of the cover is turned in one direction, the pivoting end of the locking bars move so that the other end of the bars slidingly move radially inwards along their slots to release the outer ends of the bars form the locking plates. The luminaire includes a lamp and gear tray comprising a lamp, a reflector and the lamps control gear mounted on a rectangular box-type tray made of perforated sheet metal. |
